‘‘Created by the Archmage of Chaos, it pulls random planets from their position in time and space, then shrinks them down to a size so that they can be launched at foes. A truly deadly weapon.
When enough souls have been gathered their power enables the claw enough might to fire even a sun...’’

Celestial Claw is the fifth weapon of Amid Evil that fires explosive projectiles. It utilizes yellow mana and is considered a part of the heavy arsenal.

Description[ | ]

Appearance[ | ]

The Claw is a twisted wand made out of metal spine bones and spikes[1] with a red crystal attached to the center of it.

Abilities[ | ]

As described in the codex, the Claw shrinks down planets to fit inside of it and launches them at enemies. They blow up upon contact and deal splash damage. When soul-powered it pulls out stars and supernovas that create wide shockwaves.

Summary[ | ]

In short: the Claw is your rocket launcher. Or rather planet launcher. This is the best weapon choice against large and huge enemies as it deals high damage and its mana is more frequent than of Aeturnum's. It's also useful outside of combat as it allows you to perform rocket planet jumps across long corridors or to unreachable by normal means platforms.

Facts & trivia[ | ]

  • Celestial Claw and soul-powered Aeturnum are the only weapons that can damage and kill Champion.
  • Sometimes Celestial Claw can pull out the Earth itself from the orbit. When launched, HUD message shows up that says: "Uhh... You just blew up the Earth..."
  • Protectors, Giant Protectors and Laser Guards take double damage from this weapon.
    • Solar Saint, on the other hand, absorbs Claw's soul-powered projectiles and spits them out. Doi.
  • As the codex implies, Celestial Claw originates from the Arcane Expanse.
  • Confirmed by Leon on Steam forum, planets the players don't shoot return back to their original position in time and space.[2]
